Waukesha Bearings celebrates plant’s fiftieth anniversary

Waukesha Bearings’ plant in Antigo, Wisconsin.
Founded in Waukesha, Wisconsin in 1946, Waukesha Bearings opened its Antigo manufacturing facility in May 1972, with a workers of three full-time workers. In 2019, the plant expanded to one hundred,000 sq ft of producing area and now employs a hundred and twenty individuals. The manufacturing space was added to accommodate production for marine bearing systems and different new tasks awarded to the corporate.
“We are proud of our success and growth to turn into a provider of precision bearings to some of the largest multi-national companies from our small-town, Northern Wisconsin location,” said Mark Greenlund, plant supervisor.
