Danish marine pump specialist Svanehøj has gained an order from China’s Jiangsu New Yangzi Shipbuilding to provide gas pump techniques for 15 new construct dual-fuel LNG container vessels (7000 TEU).

This is one of Svanehøj’s largest LNG fuel-related orders thus far. It can additionally be the second LNG gas pump methods order that Jiangsu New Yangzi Shipbuilding has placed with Svanehøj within the final 12 months. In July 2021, Svanehøj signed a contract to offer deepwell pumps for 10 dual-fuel LNG container vessels (15 000 TEU).
Svanehøj quadrupled sales of its patented deepwell gas pumps in 2021, and says there are numerous indications that gross sales could improve even further in 2022.
