Hayward Tyler Inc and its sister company Energy Steel have been awarded multi-million dollar contracts to help the ITER project in France.

Hayward Tyler’s contract covers variable drive booster pumps while Energy Steel will provide sixty two solenoid valve and cubicle packages.
The ITER project is a joint worldwide research and growth venture to demonstrate the scientific and technical feasibility of fusion power. The demonstration facility is under construction in St-Paul-lez-Durance in France, and would be the largest fusion experimental reactor on the planet.
Hayward Tyler’s booster pumps might be an integral a half of the drying system for the Tokamak Cooling Water System (TCWS). The pumps shall be designed, constructed and tested at Hayward Tyler Inc in Colchester, Vermont, USA.
